Dear sisters and brothers in the
Lord,
Welcome
to the Catholic Church of the Incarnation. Whether you are
new to the area or just joining our parish, we hope you find
a home here with us.
Our
parish was established in 1978, and the first liturgy was
celebrated at the Collierville funeral home. In 1984, the
first church and fellowship hall were dedicated. With the
steady growth of this area, we soon realized that we needed
more space. We embarked on a growth campaign, which
resulted in our Holy Family Life Center, dedicated in 1998.
This building continues to house our Elementary School
(which opened in the fall of 2000), an active Mother’s Day
Out and Preschool program (which began in the spring of
2000) as well as our Parish Religious Education (PRE) office
and classrooms. Our PRE program serves over 700 children.
In January of 2007, Bishop Steib dedicated our New Church
and expanded elementary school. God has truly blessed us
and our expansion must continue as we now have over 1400
registered families!
We hope
and pray that we can meet your spiritual needs here at
Incarnation. There are many ministries and organizations
for both adults and children. We welcome and encourage you
to join any and all organizations in which you are
interested.
Again,
we welcome you into our parish family. We pray God will
continue to bless us as we carry out our parish mission
which is to celebrate the Church’s liturgy, to educate
adults and children in the Word of God and to grow together
in the fellowship of Christ.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Rev. William J. Parham
Pastor
